National Geographic Augmented Reality Installation
The use of AR has an incredible impact on a scale like this. I can definitely see greater potential for even more immersive experiences with large scale AR, but i really like the simplicity of the National Geographic installation which brings a bit of National Geographic into your world, rather than immersing you into another place.

FEB Design
Here’s proof that simplicity and consistency can come together to make a killer style. FEB’s stationary is awesome to look at, especially when you see the system applied across the different pieces. I find the lack of colour to be really refreshing, relying more on bold typography to create impact.

Games We Played
Check out the beautiful “Games We Played Growing Up In Singapore” from Plate Interactive! I’m loving the playful graphics and fun use of typography. The colours and textures work well to create a bold feeling of nostalgia - very suitable for a site dedicated to childhood games. Each letter tile features a very nice little animation that kept me hooked. All in all, a very fun site to cruise around.
Kijek/Adamski
Check out this awesome music video for We Cut Corners’ “Pirates Life” by Warsaw based duo Kijek/Adamski. It’s all done with markers on paper, super simple and that’s what i like so much about it. No tricks with AE or anything, just traditional hand drawn animation.
Read a great interview on Motionographer too.
